Abstract

From the contributions of critical pedagogy, this article develops the pedagogical discourse and practice concept from the optics of what happens in the musical teaching and learning processes. It presents a critical and reflexive analysis of musical teaching, the activities, and teacher interactions included, as well as the actions promoted inside and outside the educational institutions. This is with the purpose of offering tracks that help to generate a bigger conscience of these unconscious processes in order to reduce their impact.
