Reflections on the reform practices of county public hospitals in China

Abstract

To analyze the status quo and process of healthcare reform in China based on the investigation of the county-level public hospitals reform.From the viewpoints of the government,suppliers,and medical insurance providers,the authors probed into the government's input mechanism,the development of the county public hospitals,the dilemma of the medical security system,as well as the practice of zero-profit drug policy.Proposals made in the paper raised thoughts and recommendations on healthcare reform in China.
