Abstract
Abstract The reflections of nursing students were collected two years after an immersion experience in Ireland. Participants told of their professional growth and the conversations they had with health care providers and patients. The values they learned as students were facilitated by relationship building and solidarity with the individuals they met during the immersion experience.
