Abstract

The article provides a literary review of articles published over the past two years in highly indexed world journals and publications devoted to the problems of national and cultural identity of Kazakhs. The author selected and reviewed three main articles that meet these requirements. To analyze the Kazakh national and cultural identity, the article first examines national identity in modern education, and then raises the question of creating citizenship in Kazakhstan between the Soviet era and globalization. These questions will help to identify the concepts of national identity, citizenship and nation in Kazakhstan. In response to the main questions of the article, the interaction of globalization and culture in the modern world is considered and analyzed, and in this regard, the final part provides an answer to specific questions. In addition, the article found that in the future, when analyzing the national and cultural identity of Kazakhs, special attention should be paid to empirical research.
