Abstract

Using the known steady-state solution for reflection of a plane wave at normal incidence, the time-dependent reflected waveforms for an impulsive incident field are calculated by use of a numerical inverse Fourier transform. Curves are presented which show the dependence of the parallel and crosspolarised components on the static magnetic field.
