Abstract
We study the radiation reflection from a rough metallic surface, particularly in the spectral range of surface plasmon, with the help of Maxwell's equations without neglecting the imaginary part 2 of the dielectric constant. We calculate numerical solutions upto first order approximation in the case of almost plane aluminium or magnesium surfaces illuminated at normal incidence.
