Abstract

The transmission characteristics of reflection holograms recorded in commercially available silver halide plates at δ = 514.5 nm are investigated. It is shown that they can be replayed up to infrared, and relying on second harmonic modulation, down to ultraviolet wavelengths. A simple coupled wave theory is found to give good agreement with the experimental results.
