Abstract

A communicative approach to language teaching and learning has been accepted by the majority of stakeholders in the field of foreign language education in South Korea, yet no research has been conducted to investigate learners attitudes and perceptions of this approach. This article aims to contribute to our understanding of communicative language teaching (CLT) by investigating and listening to the learners opinions. The findings suggest that the majority of participants in the study hold positive attitudes toward the use of CLT in the language classroom.
