Abstract
Key Points Patent foramen ovale (PFO) tunnel width and length can help predict successful closure after NobleStitch. A maximal tunnel width/shortest length ratio ≤0.61 is a good predictor of a significant (grade 2–3) residual right‐left shunt after a single stitch at follow‐up. Consideration of using two stitches for patients with large and/or short PFO tunnels should be made at the index procedure.
