Abstract

This commentary highlights how the scholars in the special issue titled “Revisioning Family Theories: Centering Race and Ethnicities” have provided thoughtful and constructive ways to transform family theories. I discuss how the integration of race and ethnicity makes us think of different propositions and ask different questions in the theory construction process.
