Abstract

The article discusses the methodological foundations of the formation and functioning in the construction of logistics centres. Following the established classification of resources within the framework of this organizational structure, flows of material and technical resources are allocated, which are characterized by direction, intensity and throughput. In this regard, the article provides schemes for organizing the flow of material and technical resources in construction; integrating them in one structure allows you to form a new material and technical support structure - a logistics centre. While qualitatively transforming management and production processes and the links between them, the logistics centre implements the reengineering methodology regarding the organizational structure and business processes. Based on these provisions, the authors proposed an organizational scheme for the formation and functioning of a logistics centre in construction, its interaction and a constructed object, and schematic diagrams of flows of material and technical resources. In the course of the study, it was found that the economic effect from the use of a logistics centre is possible as a result of a decrease in hidden losses, savings in direct costs and overhead costs, and an additional effect from the lease and sale of material and technical resources. The presence of these components of the economic effect indicates another promising direction in the activities of the logistics centre - managing the cost of an investment project and making it possible to further increase the competitiveness of companies implementing the methodologies and practices of logistics and reengineering.
