AbstractSimplicity and flexibility are goals that everyone should consider when reengineering a process. They were essential to productivity and quality improvements at Siemens Solar Industries. This case study describes how Siemens combined creativity and some fundamental manufacturing principles in successfully reengineering its circuit assembly process.
