Abstract

The problem of fault diagnosis in hybrid systems is considered within the scope of analytical redundancy concept. Solution of the problem assumes the checking redundancy relations existing among measured system inputs and outputs. The method is proposed for redundancy relations design. This method involves appropriate transformations of the operating and operated subsystems and, then, conversion of the transformed operated subsystem given in strict feedback form to input-output representation. Pair algebra of partitions and differential geometric tools are involved for transformation of the operating and operated subsystems respectively.
