Abstract

An experimental study has been carried out to investigate the possibility of reducing the minimum wet thickness of high-viscosity solutions in extrusion slot coating. The experimental results reveal that using a low-viscosity solution as a bottom carrier layer can effectively achieve the goal of reducing the minimum wet thickness.
