Abstract
1. The theoretical possibility of using molecular hydrogen for the reduction of molecular nitrogen in protic media with the formation of ammonia and hydrazine was demonstrated. 2. The reduction of molecular nitrogen can be accomplished within a narrow interval of pH values on account of the formation of a thermodynamically nonequilibrium form of Ti(IV).
