Abstract

A time-subgriding scheme is used to reduce the late time instabilities of local-distorted nonorthogonal finite-difference time-domain (LNFDTD) method caused by the introduction of skew cells in the Cartesian coordinate system. Numerical simulation based on the proposed modification shows good agreement with theoretical predication.
