Abstract

The effect of a new engineering solution in technologies of the electrolytic production of aluminum on quantitative indicators of pollutants in emitted anode gases is analyzed. The methods for reducing the emission of resinous substances are described. The problem of trapping wastes as the pins extracted from anodes cool is considered in detail. A variant of a solution based on cooling the anode pins in an aspirated cassette, which will reduce the emission of resinous substances by 5% on average, is proposed.
