Abstract

A potato production system has been worked out in Ukraine to reduce the levels of chemical residues in table potatoes as much as possible. This is based on crop rotation and green manuring, mechanical weed control, use of resistant cultivars and optimum timing of any applications against Colorado beetle and late blight.
