Abstract
Simple methods employing certain software and hardware are proposed for reducing the error of measurement of the level of bulk media by gauges that probe the medium with single superhigh-frequency radio pulses. Consideration is given to modulation of the reflection of the radio beam by inclinations of the surface relief. The measurement error can be reduced by an amount ranging from 20 to 5%.
