Abstract
This book is written by a clinical pharmacist who is based in Brisbane, Australia, and specialises in the care of older people. It is written primarily for (professional) carers working in ‘aged-care’ facilities and each chapter is presented in a short, snappy format with the text broken-up with cartoon figures (and bubble text) to represent nurses/caring situations, older people and a variety of everyday situations. When I say short and snappy, I really mean it, as the seventh and final chapter, on the ‘importance of teamwork, training and support’, is spread over two pages and has six bullet points, and even then it has space for a cartoon figure of an older person.
