Abstract
Introduction Late start times in theatre are an inefficient utilisation of resources with a negative impact on a health service under significant financial pressure. The aim of this quality improvement project was to use process mapping to identify causes for delay in maxillofacial theatre start times at Ysbyty Glan Clwyd in an attempt to promote change and improve efficiency.
