Abstract

Disparities in care are an increasing concern of the US health care system as our population becomes increasingly more diverse. The existence of inequity in health care not only adversely affects those facing disparities but may also affect and limit quality care generally by virtue of increased and unnecessary costs. Disparities in care occur in all patient populations, including those with neurologic diseases.
