Abstract
Lower superconducting transition temperatures have been found in amorphous transition metal alloys composed of elements widely separated in the Periodic Table, which differs from data on amorphous alloys composed of nearest and next nearest neighbors. Systematic behavior is pointed out and the effects of spin fluctuations and charge transfer are discussed.
