Abstract

The quenched momentum prescription for large N pure gauge theory is generalized to QCD with flavoured quarks. Two sets of quenched momenta p and q for each color and flavor are introduced and the quark fields are represented as ψ ( x) = e i px ψ e −i qx where ψ is the N c × N f random Grassman matrix. The rest of the construction is the same as in the quenched Eguchi-Kawai model. Explicit expressions for the meson and baryon amplitudes are derived and discussed.
