Abstract

RGO decorated Sb2S3 nanorods have been fabricated via a facile two-step process and utilized as anode materials for sodium-ion batteries. The composite materials with RGO decorated Sb2S3 nanorods show higher specific surface area, higher capacity, superior rate capability and improved cycling performance versus anode with pristine Sb2S3 nanorods. Current improved anode materials deliver an initial reversible capacity of 652 mAh g−1 at a constant current density of 100 mA g−1. After 60 cycles the specific capacity is 80.3% of the initial performance. The excellent electrochemical performance indicates RGO decorated Sb2S3 nanorods is a promising anode material for sodium-ion batteries.
