Abstract
The structure of the title compound, (CH6N)4[InCl6]Cl, originally determined by Schlimper & Ziegler [Z. Naturforsch. Teil B, (1972), 27, 377–379] in a non-standard setting has been redetermined and carefully corrected for absorption effects. A brief comparison of this structure with other chloroindate compounds can be found by Knop et al. [Can. J. Chem. (1987), 65, 1527–1555]. The redetermination resulted in a slightly better refinement and the discussion of hydrogen contacts in differences to the previous work.
