Abstract

This work is part of the discussions about teaching mediated by the use of technologies, more specifically the Virtual Social Networks developed in the last decades and which have influenced behavior al changes in society. In the study, we were interested in teaching practices mediated by Virtual Social Networks, which have provided people with interaction in attractive environments. Wes eek to analyze how these networks can be used in the classroom and how students see them in the teaching and learning process. Thus, in the 56532 scope of qualitative-participatory research, we applied an open questionnaire for high school students, in the discipline of Biology, and also the record of interactions carried out on WhatsApp and Instagram. The research was carried out during the development of the supervised curricular internship. The analysis of the research corpus revealed that these Virtual Social Networks contribute positively to the students 'learning and how the students' perception about the networks can interfere in the teaching and learning processes.
