Research Article| January 01 2017 Redeeming Vanity Fair: Theological Debates over Fundraising within the W.F.M.S. Douglas D. Tzan Douglas D. Tzan DOUGLAS D. TZAN is currently the Associate Pastor of the Sykesville Parish in Sykesville, Maryland, and he teaches at Wesley Theological Seminary. He earned his Ph.D. from Boston University in Religious Studies (History of Christianity). His dissertation was a biography of Bishop William Taylor. That manuscript was awarded the 2015 Jesse Lee Prize from the General Commission on Archives and History.
