Abstract

This article analyzed the services that structure the care network for women in situations of violence in a city in the interior of the State of São Paulo, investigating the main difficulties faced by technicians and service managers. The study was characterized by a dialectica lhistorical materialist perspective, of a qualitative exploratory, using documental and bibliographical research and semi-structured interviews with fourteen participants. With the collection and analysis of the data, there was an approximation of thereality, seizing the contradictions, between the confrontation and a gap in relation to thewoman's lack of protection. The results pointed to the need to implement a politicalcommitment from the government and society in general, with the aim of breaking with the pragmatism and individualism of the different actors and services in the network, promoting equity, with effective and integrated prevention and health promotion, which respond to the demands of victims of violence.
