Abstract
The proposed research involves using recycled cement obtained from expired cement, and recycled fine aggregates extracted from construction and demolition waste, as alternative resources of raw materials for making sustainable cellular light weight flowable fill. The present study elucidates the synergetic influence of foam and water dosages on the fresh and hardened performances of recycled materials based cellular light weight flowable fill. The outcome of this research revealed that the synergism of foam and water dosages has a considerable impact on fluidity and its film thickness, geometry aspects of flow spread, solid concentration and its void ratio, bleeding capacity, microscopic voids distribution, densities and strength characteristics of recycled materials based light weight fill. The use of recycled cement and recycled fine aggregates for making flowable light weight fill is recommended as a sustainable effective measure in construction applications.
