Abstract

This paper proposes an adaptation algorithm named Recursive Least Adaptive Threshold Nonlinear Errors -Regressor Phase Algorithm (RLATNE-RPhA) for adaptive filters in the complex-number domain. The algorithm combines ATNE Algorithm with recursive least estimation of inverse covariance matrix of the regressor and uses a regressor phase. Two types of impulse noise are considered: at the output and at the input of the filter. Through theoretical analysis and experiments, it is shown that the proposed algorithm makes adaptive filters fast convergent and robust in the presence of both types of impulse noise.
