Abstract

Fibrosarcoma of bone is said to be the rarest and least malignant of the connective tissue tumours of bone. It may originate in the periosteum or the medullary cavity of any bone. It can be successfully removed despite delay in diagnosis and repeated inadequate surgical procedures. We report a patient who presented with a recurrent fibrosarcoma of the skull who had undergone twenty operations and two courses of radiotherapy over a period of 35 years.
