Abstract
Soluble polyaniline (PANI) was synthesized chemically with p-toluenesulfonic acid (TSA) as proton. The soluble PANI films on SnO 2-conducting glass were prepared by coating with the solution of PANI in N-methyl pyrrolidine (NMP) solvent and the Al/PANI/SnO 2 cell showed a rectifying effect. The characteristic of current-voltage and the temperature dependence of the current of the Al/PANI/SnO 2 cell agreed with the theory of thermoelectronic emission. Its ideality factor, the Schottky barrier and work function were determined.
