Abstract

AbstractThe one‐dimensional random dynamics of overdamped Brownian particles moving in spatially periodic potentials and driven by asymmetric Poissonian white shot noise is studied in the diffusive and non‐diffusive regimes. The stationary probability density and the probability current are determined for differentiable and non‐differentiable periodic forces.
