Abstract

Purpose: Recreational off-highway vehicles (ROVs) have become increasingly popular, but no studies have examined the safety issues and experiences of teens while operating ROVs. The objective of this study was to better understand the epidemiology, safety behaviors, and crash experiences of youth ROV riders. Methods: Attendees of the 2015 and 2016 Iowa Future Farmers of America (FFA) Leadership Conference were surveyed.
