Reconstruction Of Urban Park Areas While Preserving of The Existing Ecosystem

Abstract

The process of development of urban areas, and the related structuring of urban fabric. The types of park territories and their main components are listed. The features of the interaction of the two main subsystems of city parks - the ecosystem and the recreational environment. The factors of aggressive influence on the ecosystem of park territories, and the forms of its degradation and destruction, are indicated. The standard functional composition of the park recreational environment is presented. On the example of the author's concept of reconstruction of the Central Park of Culture and Rest named М. Gorky in Samara revealed the main characteristics and anthological problems of urban park areas. A universal method is proposed for the reconstruction of urban park territories on the basis of the segregation of zones and the concentration of functional consumer objects. As the main object for the implementation of these principles, a structural metabolic linear-bridge object is proposed that forms a developed leisure infrastructure with the possibility of organizing cultural events and allowing to preserve the existing ecosystem of the park.
