Abstract

In this article the authors report on the reconstruction of major nasal deformities in children and adults. Most of the patients are Mexicans, and their dark skin is unsuitable for use as free grafts for the face. The forehead flap was used whenever possible, but was contraindicated for total nasal reconstruction in children; arm flaps were used in the children.
