Abstract

Background: The pathologies that affect the oral-maxillofacial region, in its soft or hard tissues, develop in the most diverse stages of life, and can bring serious consequences when they occur in the growth phase of pediatric patients. Tooth development can confer specific pathologies to the maxillary region with distinct levels of local aggressiveness. In jaw cases, one form of treatment for reconstruction of this region is the microvascular graft of fibula, which aims the anatomical and bio functional reconstruction of this structure.
