Abstract
Acupuncture and moxibustion treatment of traditional Chinese medicine has been widely spread all over the world because its less side effects and effectiveness for ahead sick and incurable diseases. We have constructed a model of human body including internal organs and meridians with acu-points, but acupoints' efficacy was not included. Efficacy of acupoints is that when acupoints are stimulated, a certain amount of tonification or purgation stimulation is given to internal organs, and the amount is determined by acupuncture manipulation. In clinical, acupuncture manipulation is used to stimulate acupoints for patients. In this paper, we reconstruct a human body model based on acupoints' efficacy. Firstly, measurement equations are proposed to calculate the acupoints' efficacy on internal organs by quantifying acupuncture manipulation. Then, a model of acupoints' efficacy is constructed and added to our previous model. Finally, effectiveness of the model is verified through simulation of acupuncture and moxibustion treatment.
