Abstract

The specific features of silicon photomultiplier (SiPM) signal reconstruction in the DANSS experiment are discussed. A technique for calibration of SiPM response using its noise spectrum parameters is described. The method allows one to calculate the number of detected photoelectrons. The results of practical application of the developed procedure to the adjustment of SiPM operating voltages are presented. It is shown that the achieved precision of such hardware calibration is better than 2%.
