Abstract

The growing interest of large corporations in providing personalized recommendations to their target audience, makes it possible for people to increase their interest in receiving increasingly specific content according to their interest profile. Recommendation systems directly contribute to suggestions, forecasts or assessments that are provided through different techniques. Recommendation systems in education aim to contribute to aiding the learning process and this work carried out a systematic literature review to present the main works, tools and recommendation techniques used in the educational context and their relationships. Papers that demonstrate greater relevance for the purpose of this research were selected according to the ontology established regarding the topic. As a result, the geographic distribution over the last four years, the main concepts related to Recommendation Systems in Education and the list of the main recommendation techniques used in the selected literature are presented.
