Abstract
ASCE involvement in endorsing construction contract general conditions has been less intense and effective than other societies. The organizational structure and approach was found to have inherent delays. The Committee on Contract Administration of the Construction Division now recommends that the NSPE/ACEC Standard General Conditions of the Construction Contract be endorsed, subject to the commentary of the Committee.
