Abstract
Replacing human serum albumin (HSA) with lower amounts of recombinant human albumin (rHA) during embryo culture yields good-quality blastocysts. In this study, the efficacy of using completely defined media containing rHA for all ART protocols was evaluated using a sibling embryo model to minimize experimental variation between patients. Further, we examined the effects of the albumin source on pregnancy rates following vitrification.
