Abstract

Recognization of Cloth Pattern and Colour for Blind People - written by G. Siva Sankar Varma , Shirisha Kamishetti , P. Sudha published on 2020/05/21 download full article with reference data and citations

Highlights

  • Visual impairment leads to loss of livelihood and difficulty to themselves but to the families they support

  • WORKING PROCESS The Input Image Is taken/selected from the dataset and the pre-processing of the image is done using sift algorithm the features of the image are determined and will be go through the SVM classifier which will classify on the basis of the pre-processed training set and will detect the colour of the image cloth input through audio and it will give us the Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) transform which helps us finding the pattern of the cloth and will give the output displayed on the screen and output in audio output

  • Based on data from the World Health Organization (WHO), there are more than 37 million people across the globe who are blind, over 15 million are in India [1]
