Abstract

A crop-picking vehicle was designed to automatically pick crop fruits and reduce human labor in the later harvest. The intelligent vehicle uses a Raspberry Pi 3B + controller, combines with a monocular camera, infrared sensor, four-degree-of-freedom manipulator and manipulator, and adopts the open source computer vision library OpenCV to realize the recognition and extraction of the target fruit. Based on the actual test verification, it was concluded that the intelligent vehicle could successfully realize the picking test of simulation citrus under the condition of good ambient light.
