Abstract

Enormous methods have been fabricated till date to classify plants on the basis of their leaf image. In general, crucial physical attributes are not included that entail paramount details. In this paper, recognition and classification of plant from leaf image has been implemented using various techniques for visual attribute extraction, such as, shape feature, colour feature, vein features etc. After the feature extraction classification and recognition approaches like probabilistic neural network, SVM, gradient descent and scalar conjugate gradient are performed and for the testing of the above discussed methods various evaluation parameters are then applied to check the performance of the system.
