Abstract

ABSTRACT As a practice, writing about the moments inside therapy opens an alchemical process: More of my experience, more reflection, more depth, and more input from other writers flow into the work, transmuting my hours with my patient I call Ethan. Rereading what I’ve written, writing more, and playing with the ephemeral experience of our time together further his freedom by shaping my presence in our work.
