Abstract
A systematic study of the reactions P 8P 8 → P 8V 9 and P 8P 8 → P 8T 9 with V 9T 9 intermediate trajectories yields a system of 13 equations, whose solution contains exchange degeneracy of the trajectories, the mass formula m A 2 2 = 3 ( m ϱ 2 − m π 2), decoupling of the Pomeranchuk to PT, g ϱπφ≈0, g f∗ππ ≈0 , and strong restrictions on possible SU 3 representations suggesting a reciprocal bootstrap of the T 9 and V 9 trajectories. A general scheme for meson bootstrap is discussed.
