Abstract

Simultaneous occurrence of autosomal recessive total albinism and congenital perceptive deafness is reported in four children belonging to two related consanguineous Jewish-Moroccan sibships. In one of these sibships three other sisters are affected with congenital deafness only. Clinical and laboratory findings in one of the sibships are presented, and the genetical interpretation is discussed.
