Abstract

The Number Two man in the Mongolian power-hierarchy has fallen. Luvsantserengiin Tsende was removed as Politburo Member, as Second Secretary of the Party, and as a member of the Central Committee of the Party, by a Central Committee meeting on December 22, 1963, and as Chairman of the Great Khural (Mongolian People's Assembly) by a Khural session on December 24. The Party resolution denouncing him charged that:
